When you realize you've been listening to a song for years and you honestly like that song, but have never really made a true connection with it, it's interesting when the lyrics finally click and resonate all of the feelings you have at the current time because of your situation. From there forward, a memory is made. A connection is formed and it binds that memory and that song. It may be lost one day, as many memories are. But it'll be there for a while. And I find that intriguing. A song I love so dearly finally reaches new heights with me emotionally and shows me something new.
Maybe it is a lesson to keep an open mind. We never know what is going to pop out from a current situation or feeling, even one we believe we are entirely familiar with...
